Check-In feature allows users to share their current location with other group members instantly, ensuring they are safe or have reached a specific destination. It acts as a manual way to notify your group members about your whereabouts without them actively tracking or seeking your location.
Here's how it works:
- Open the Famio app and go to the main screen
- Tap "Places" in the bottom menu
- Tap the "Check-In" button in the top right corner
- You’ll be shown a list of nearby locations from Apple Maps
- Browse through the list and select the location where you wish to check in
- After selecting, tap on the location name
- This action will immediately share your chosen location with your group members. They will receive a notification that you've checked in at that specific place
The Check-In feature is especially handy during travels, after reaching a destination, or any other time when you want to quickly and effortlessly update your group members about your current location.
