Check out the most common reasons why you might be seeing multiple charges on the same day, all having the descriptor “famio”, “family locator”, or their variations.
Validation charge
If you choose a credit card payment, sometimes we charge a validation fee of $0.50 (the amount may slightly vary due to region and currency exchange rates) to make sure your card is valid. This charge is instantly refunded.
Unsuccessful charges
Not all the charges you see on your bank statement are successful: sometimes failed transactions are displayed as well — these are usually removed from the bank statement within a couple of days.
Multiple products
We offer additional programs on top of the main subscription. These could be extra dance classes or useful PDF guides. The extra charge on your bank statement may refer to additional purchases.
